| Résumé : | Bersim up to now remains the most used forage crop. It has a high production potential during winter and gives then excess forage which is potentially available for conservation. The objective of the present work is two fold. First is to present the of the biology and the of the techniques of the silage making process. Second is to test thnough a series of exeperimentation the impact of selected relevant technological factors like pre-wilting, chopping or the use of additives on the ensiling of berseem hyegrass or similar uneasily ensilable crops. |
